Verse 1

Reality…

Reality is blurred,

How can we tell what's real and what’s not?

When everything feels like a fairytale

How we met,

The first time our eyes met,

The first hug we shared,

And that kiss that happened at the gas station,

Verse 2

High and happy to be alive crazy,

I’ve never known such peace exist,

I pray to keep it till I’m 80

A book full of blank pages,

Missing words, missing pictures,

Never written, now dreams to create,

Living from blank page to blank page,

How selfish and rude to treat life,

Never once appreciating what one possesses,

Father forgive us for all the tears we cry, the sounds of misery,

Today we live life, we forgive ourselves, Let’s begin to write,

To know, grow, live

To fill the blank pages of the Book of Life.

Verse 3

Oh, what a loss it is for us,

The eyes that you saw the world were so dull,

Dark sunglasses hide a colorful world,

A world full of beauty and love,

Maybe just maybe, someone could have held you,

Let them hold you while you sob,

Happily embracing the dull world, hoping today will be it,

But yet what a loss,

Verse 4

But is It Me?

Or the grass looks greener?

Or the sun is shining even brighter?

Or I everything feels better?

Feeling like a healing wound within,

Like an erupted boil,

Cleaned and dressed

Much better now,

Time heals indeed,

It’s not just you. There are plenty like that. Plenty.

This is a master piece poem.
